Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation – Rosatom, which is in charge of the construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant Akkuyu, announced that all permits for the plant will be ready by October this year.
Atomstroyexport, a subsidiary of Rosatom, has held a tender for the development of technical requirements to prepare the ground with concrete surface for the construction of tha main building and foundations of the complex. Rosatom said that the most important structures in the complex are the nuclear energy blocks and the works on preparing foundation plate for the reactor will mark the start of the main construction phase of NPP Akkuyu.
