According to the data from the Statistical Office of Republic of Slovenia, country’s electricity consumption in July 2017 increased by 3 % compared to the same month last year.
In July 2017, total net electricity generation in Slovenia reached 1,305 GWh, which is 13 % higher than in the previous month. At the same time, consumption reached 1,158 GWh, which is a decrease of 1 % compared to June 2017. During July, production in thermal power plants increased by 51 %, production in hydropower plants decreased by 6 % and the production of nuclear power plant Krsko increased by 3 %. In July 2017, Slovenia imported 693 GWh of electricity and exported 814 GWh.
