According to data published by Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Azerbaijan delivered about 4.74 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the January-September 2017 period.
Turkey imported 3.232 billion cubic meters of natural gas in September 2017 period via pipelines, while 448 million cubic meters were accounted for liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports. Russia remains on the top of natural gas exporters to Turkey with 2.1 billion cubic meters in September, followed by Azerbaijan with 519 million and Iran with 518 million cubic meters. Azeri gas exports to Turkey amounted to 337.5 million cubic meters in august this year.
