Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica said that unit 2 of its nuclear power plant Cernavoda has been automatically disconnected from the grid in the morning hours of 29 March, after a glitch in the electric system.
Unit 2 at NPP Cernavoda has been operating at half capacity on 25 March due to the replacement of a part of the engine on the condensing pump at the conventional part of the unit. The company said that these two disconnection are totally unrelated.
