Within the official visit of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic to Ukraine, a Ukrainian-Croatian economic forum was organized, which brought together over 250 businessman from both countries.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said that Ukraine want to participate in the project for the construction of liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on Krk island in Croatia, adding that such endeavor will ensure the energy independence of Ukraine. PM Plenkovic replied that with its experience Croatia will help Ukraine in the implementation of the agreement on the EU accession, adding that friendly relations are also an opportunity to improve the economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the energy sector.
