The representatives of Turkish Petroleum and State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) have discussed the possibilities for the expansion of cooperation between the two companies.
President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev said after the meeting with General Manager of Turkish Petroleum Melih Han Bilgin that the two companies have been cooperating for a long time in several projects such as the Shah Deniz gas field and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. Bilgin noted the existence of great prospects for the expansion of cooperation, adding that the participation of Turkish companies in the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan and the participation of Azerbaijani companies in Turkish projects play a very important role for the economies of both countries.
