According to Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Turkey’s oil imports amounted to 42.7 million tons in 2017, which is a 6.43 % increase compared to the previous year. The majority of the amount, namely 62.4 % of total imports, was imported from three countries – Iraq, Russia and Iran.
