Turkish oil refiner Tupras said that it reached full capacity production and record sales with residuum upgrade capacity contribution in 2016. The company also posted lower than expected net profit.
The statement from the company said that in 2016, it processed a total of 29.6 million tons (including semi-products), which resulted in 11 % increase (2.5 million tons) in domestic sales. With total sales of 30.3 million tons, Tupras increased its sales volume by 5 % (1.5 million tons) compared to 2015.
