Slovenian energy company HSE, which operates thermal power plant Sostanj, announced that the unit 6 of the plant will be synchronized back to the grid on 6 November, following a brief inspection due to which it was taken offline on 27 October.
According to the statement from the company, said that due to bad hydrological situation and increased consumption at nuclear power plant Krsko, provided the largest share in domestic electricity production in this year. During the downtime an inspection of a warranty repair, that was carried out in June this year, will be performed. At the same time, the provider shall eliminate smaller warranty claims and perform all necessary maintenance work. During the shutdown of unit6 at TPP Sostanj, unit 4 will be operational, allowing an uninterrupted supply of electricity.
