Thermal power plant complex Kostolac, which is operated by state-owned power utility EPS, announced that it has already fulfilled this year’s electricity production plan. Since the beginning of 2016, the complex produced 6.67 billion kWh of electricity to Serbian energy system, which also broke all previous production records.
This result is achieved mostly due to reliable operation of two revitalized units B1 and B2 at TPP Kostolac B, as well as due to stable operation of both units at TPP Kostolac A. Excellent production results were also contributed by stable and reliable delivery of coal from nearby Drmno open pit mine.
