The Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) has proposed a starting price of 32.05 euros/MWh to be applied for the next NOME auction, which will be held on 12 July. This represents a reduction by 5.32 euros compared to the previously held auction.
Greek Ministries of Energy and Finance will have to approve this decision and it, along with the auction’s date, has to be published in the official gazette by 3 July if the auction schedule agreed with the country’s creditors is to be maintained. The amount of electricity offered at the third NOME auction of the year will be unchanged – 145 MWh/h. It is expected that the volume of offered electricity will be increased for the last auction of the year, scheduled for December.
