Romanian state-owned natural gas producer Romgaz will invest a total of 186 million euros in the project for the construction of gas-fired thermal power plant Iernut in this year. In 2017, the company invested some 43 million euros in the project.
For 2018, Romgaz plans to completed the construction of foundations and the main building, the installation of turbine and waste heat boiler, as well as the construction of auxiliary buildings. The company also plans the delivery of three gas turbines, four gas turbine generators, two steam turbines and related generators. Three of four gas turbines, as well as two generators have already been delivered to Constanta port and the installation of this equipment is planned for the second half of the year.
