According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, the production of electricity in September 2016 decreased by 4 % compared to August, to 3,534 GWh, while deliveries of electricity decreased by 5.6 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,421 GWh. Production of natural gas in September 2016 increased by 14.3 % compared to the previous month and amounted to 8 million cubic meters, while its deliveries increased by 18.6 % and amounted to 198 million cubic meters.
Compared to September 2015, the production of electricity has decreased by 0.8 %, while its deliveries dropped by 0.9 %. The production of natural gas increased by 33.3 %, while its deliveries rose by 15.1 % compared to September 2015.
