PPC Renewables announced that it plans to develop 700 MW in renewable energy capacity in the next two years, primarily in wind and solar sector.
The company successfully secured financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of 112 million euros for the first batch of projects, which include 18 wind farms and small hydropower plants totaling 90 MW in installed capacity. PPC Renewables will be also taking part in the upcoming RES auction scheduled for April, with strong portfolio consisting of several wind and solar projects throughout the country, such as 30 MW in Karditsa, 10 MW in Kefalonia and 4.5 MW in Tinos.
