Montenegriin power utility EPCG said in a statement that thermal power plant Pljevlja and two hydropower plants Perucica and Piva produced 2.19 TWh of electricity in 2017, which is 786 GWh less than planned. 2017 was characterized by very low hydro production due to poor hydrological condition for the most part of the year.
TPP Pljevlja produced 1.27 TWh of electricity in 2017, which is slightly below the planned amount for the year, but on the other hand, HPPs Perucica and Piva produced a total of 922 GWh of electricity or 55 % less than planned for 2017.
