The Parliamentary Committee for Industries and Services in the Chamber of Deputies led by Iulian Iancu request that half of the green certificates to be bought by suppliers should be purchased on Romanian energy exchange OPCOM.
According to Committee’s proposal, 50 % of the quantity of green certificates to be purchased by electricity suppliers from renewable energy producers will have to be purchased from OPCOM’s anonymous market.
