The largest Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom, a part of Austrian OMV Group, recorded a drop of 4.2 % in hydrocarbon production in the first quarter of 2018, compared to the same period last year.
In the first quarter of this year, total hydrocarbon production reached 162,000 barrels of oil equivalent, which is 4.2 % lower than in the first quarter of 2017 (170,000 boe) and 1.8 % lower compared to the previous quarter (165,000 boe).
