The largest Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom, a part of Austrian OMV Group, recorded a net profit of 93 million euros in the second quarter of 2018, which is by 27 % less compared to the same period in 2017. On the other hand, half year net profit amounted to 277 million euros, which is 6 % more than in H1 2017.
The statement from the company said that in the first six months of 2018, the positive impact of improved commodity prices was partly offset by the effects of the planned refinery turnaround, which was delivered on time and on budget.
