OMV Petrom, the Romanian subsidiary of Austrian OMV Group, has launched the modern analysis center for fuel quality control at its Petrobrazi oil refinery.
Member of the OMV Petrom Executive Board, responsible for the Downstream Oil activity, Neil Anthony Morgan said that Romania has no problem with fuel quality, but in order to reach this level of quality it required a lot of work, millions of euros of investments and laboratories like this one, where thousands of tests are made to check the quality of the products that are coming out of the refinery. Modernization of the analysis center required an investment of about 5 million euros. The new center has three laboratories for oil products and a water-environment lab.
