Marian Serban, Deputy General Manager of Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, the company that operates country’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, announced his resignation.
The statement from Nuclearelectrica said that Serban will leave the position of Deputy General Manager by mutual consent with the company on 1 August, but it did not provide reasons for the termination of Serban’s contract. The company said that the position will be filled by an interim manager until the completion of the internal contest for the position.
