Bulgarian Ministry of Energy said that ICGB, a joint venture company of Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) and IGI Poseidon, in which Greek Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) and Italian Edison hold equal stakes, will select the supplier of pipes for gas interconnection between Bulgaria and Greece, so-called IGB gas pipeline, in June.
Last month, the Ministry announced that ICGB received offers from ten companies: Jindaw SAW Ltd, JSC Zagorsk Pipe Plant, Welspun Corp. Ltd, Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH, Noksel Celik Boru Sanayii AS, Umran Celik Boru Sanayii AS, Erciyas Celik Boru Sanayi AS, Toplivo-2, Korinth Pipeworks SA, Pipe Industry SA and Public JSC Chelyabinsk Pipe Plant. A shortlist of up to five companies will be announced by the end of this month.
