The Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) recorded an net profit in the amount of some 600,000 euros in the first nine months of 2017, which is almost double compared to the same period in 2016.
The company’s operating revenues increased to 215.3 million euros in the first nine months of the year compared to 51.1 million euros in the same period last year. Expenses for the purchase of electricity rose to 214 million euros from last year’s 50.3 million euros.
