Serbian state-owned power utility EPS said that electricity production at its hydropower Djerdap complex was 59 % above planned in the first two months of 2018.
The production plan for January-February period was 1,001,000 MWh, but hydropower plant operating within the complex produced 587,999 MWh of electricity over that amount. Production of HPP Djerdap 1 was 75 % above planned and reached 1,185,082 MWh of electricity, while HPP Djerdap produced 314,812 MWh or 42 % more than planned.
