According to the data published by Greek electricity market operator LAGIE, the share of state-controlled Public Power Corporation (PPC) in retail electricity market has increased in July, especially in low and medium voltage segments.
PPC’s mid-voltage market share increased to 17.98 % in July from 16.79 % in the previous month. Regarding the independent suppliers, the top three challengers experienced reduction of their market share in this segment. Heron’s mid-voltage market share dropped from 2.42 % in June to 2.25 % in July, while Protergia dropped to 2.03 % from June’s 2.21 %. Elpedison’s mid-voltage market share decreased 1.68 % in July from 1.83 % in June.
