Serbian state-owned power utility EPS has denied media speculation on the alleged privatization of its Nikola Tesla thermal power plant complex (TENT).
The statement from EPS said that the privatization of the company as a whole or any of its parts is not planned and is not even considered, especially not TPP Nikola Tesla complex which is crucial for the country’s energy security. Instead, EPS continues to invest in its electricity producing facilities, in which it invested several hundred million euros in the past few years.
