Director of the Energy Management Department of the Romanian gas producer Romgaz Bela Balasz said that the Romanian energy sector is subject to a series of challenges stemming from its alignment to European energy policies.
Balasz said that the situation was particularly difficult in the beginning of the year, but it has been successfully overcame. He noted that the Romanian energy market is becoming a part of the European integrated market and in two or three years it will be a part of the 4M regional market that also includes the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
