Day-ahead price of electricity on the Romanian energy exchange OPCOM reached an average of 66 euros/MWh on Monday 6 November, which is more than double compared to last Monday when the average price was 31.3 euros/MWh.
The highest hourly price was recorded between 18:00 and 19:00, reaching over 100 euros/MWh. During the day, the price of electricity on the Romanian market surpassed Those in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which are all interconnected.
