The Romanian National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) announced that the maximum retail electricity price for household consumers who did not change their electricity supplier will drop by 3.5 % as of 1 July.
The new price regulation refers to electricity suppliers of last resort: CEZ, Enel, Electrica and E.ON, the former regional monopolies in electricity distribution before market liberalization.
