E.ON Energie Romania has won a framework contract worth about 14 million euros, excluding VAT, for the supply of electricity to the Special Telecommunication Service (STS), the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), the Foreign Intelligence Service (SIE), as well as the Chamber of Deputies, the National Administration of Penitentiaries and the Bucharest Ambulance Service.
Currently E.ON Romania supplies gas and electricity to more than 3 million clients in Northern Romania and manages 81,000 kilometers of power grid and 20,000 kilometers of gas distribution network in Romania. German company entered the Romanian market in 2005.
