US company ContourGlobal has selected a joint venture between Finnish Poyry and Croatian Ekonerg as a provider of owner’s engineer services for its project for the construction of 500 MW thermal power plant Kosova e Re.
The statement from Finnish Poyry said that the owner’s engineer general role is to ensure that the technical and build contractors are adhering to the project specifications and as such it will support the development, design, construction, and commissioning phases of the facility. TPP Kosova e Re project is of strategic importance for Kosovo, using its indigenous resources to aid economic growth and social progress and help alleviate poverty.
