At the meeting of its Supervisory Board, the largest Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom, a subsidiary of Austrian OMV Group, the new CEO of the company has been appointed.
Current CEO, Mariana Gheorghe will step down after ten years at the company’s helm, while Christine Verchere will replace her for the remainder of her mandate which will expire on 16 April 2019. Verchere will assume her duties as the company’s CEO no later than 21 May 2018.
