Spokesperson of the Czech energy group CEZ Alice Horakova said that the company will explore the possibilities of the participation of Bulgarian state in the acquisition of its assets in Bulgaria, which it has agreed to sell to Bulgarian company Inercom.
According to Horakova, during the finalization of the negotiations regarding the sale of CEZ’ assets in Bulgaria, Inercom filed a formal request in which it asked if the Bulgarian state could joint the deal. CEZ decided to consider this request and its full legal analysis will now be carried out, after which negotiations will continue. It is expected that the analysis would take few weeks, so the talks should resume in early April.
