Montenegrin electricity distribution system operator CEDIS decided to reduce the amount of electricity network connection fees in order to make it easier for consumers to access electricity distribution grid.
The statement from CEDIS said that the fee is determined depending on the voltage level and the amount of power required. Depending on the voltage level, the fees for creating technical conditions for the connection are now: 21.05 euros/kWh for 0.4 kV connection, 43.43/kWh euros for 10 kV connection and 40.33 euros/kWh for 35 kV connection. Funds collected on this basis are used exclusively for the development of the distribution system, creating the conditions for the connection of new consumers.
