Executive Director of Montenegrin electricity distribution system operator CEDIS, Zoran Djukanovic said that the company plans to invest some 78 million euros in the next three years.
According to Djukanovic, this amount will be invested in the installation of smart meters, construction of new substations, reconstruction of the distribution grid and optimization of the company’s workforce. He said that continuous investment in the electricity distribution grid is a condition of a safe delivery of electricity to exiting customers and for the addition of new clients to the network, adding that CEDIS has invested about 23 million euros since it establishment last year.
