Bulgarian state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz proposed an increase in natural gas prices for consumers of 6.99 % in the second quarter of 2018.
The company proposed to the Bulgarian Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) that the price of natural gas for the April-June 2018 period should be about 192.9 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT. The increase is due to projected higher prices of gas supplies and the dollar exchange rate. The company will make its final proposal on 9 March.
