Bulgarian state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz proposed an increase in natural gas prices for consumers of 4.82 % in the second quarter of 2018. Initial proposal for Q2 2018 from early-February envisaged a hike of 6.99 %.
The company proposed to the Bulgarian Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) that the price of natural gas for the April-June 2018 period should be about 188.9 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT. The increase is due to movement of global oil prices and dollar exchange rate.
