Bulgarian state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz proposed an increase in natural gas prices for consumers of 18.05 % in the third quarter of 2018. Initial proposal for Q2 2018 from early May envisaged a hike of 15.69 %.
The company proposed to the Bulgarian Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) that the price of natural gas for the July-September 2018 period should be about 218.6 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT. The increase is due to movement of global oil prices and dollar exchange rate.
