According to Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Azerbaijan supplied 5.31 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey during the January-October 2016 period, compared to 5 billion cubic meters in the same period in 2015.
According to the report, Turkey imported a total of 36.42 billion cubic meters of gas during the January-October 2016 period, of which 30.62 billion cubic meters were supplied via pipelines, while some 5.8 billion cubic meters were imported as liquefied natural gas (LNG). This means that Azerbaijan was accounted for 14.57 % of total Turkish gas imports in the first ten months of 2016. In 2015, Azerbaijan supplied 6.17 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey, while in 2014 the amount of supplied gas was 6.07 billion cubic meters.
