CEO of AES Bulgaria, Ivan Tzankov said that the company expects its revenues to increase by 7-8 % on the yearly basis in 2017.
Tzankov said that the company expects its revenues to increase due to a rise in electricity sales related to the harsh winter weather conditions in Bulgaria in January and February. AES Bulgaria’s two power plants produced 2.78 TWh of electricity in the first 10 months of the year, which is an increase of 9.4 % compared to the same period last year.
